A Dying Flower by Michael V

I have this flower at home, and it's dying. It's kinda lucky that Ann chose that topic. At least the flower isn't gonna be forgotten soon ;) p.s. i read STF all the time and i participated in the previous challenge, but when i try to register for STF, i never receive my password, so i cannot post any messages.

The photo was taken on Sunday, August 17th. I never posted anything in STF, and i still can't register - when i tried last time the system said that everything was ok and you should receive password soon, but i never received it. i have no idea what's wrong with the system - maybe somebody can help me register.

Nice pic ... I had the SAME problem on password ... it may be your site doing Junk mail filtering ... I use AOL ... and had to Email them with the SITE information. I did a workaround by using another Email address and had it auto foward to my TRUE Email on AOL.
Fast and easy solution ... get a FREE Email address and get a password with that one.
Good luck.

Michael, I like the subdued lighting of the plant in combination with the background effect...nice overall mood achieved here. MFC

Beautiful image Michael; even past its prime, the flower is lovely. Melanie (mlynn)

Lovely image Michael. I like the shapes and the dark background. Please put the camera you used in your comment. Thanks, Ann

I also like the softness of this. It is still a pretty flower.

Really lovely image Michael. The softness and diffused light enhance the sense of grace. Lisafx

I love the misty look of this picture - the flower is really aging gracefully. I'm sorry I don't have any answers for how you can post on STF - did you e-mail Phil? Maybe you need to put a real e-mail address from your ISP, not one from hotmail or yahoo?
