Dream on 2 wheels
by ZoomBoy

Initially, the ad had on top a watercolor of a bike processed according to the Trimoon technique (www.trimoon.com). I have removed it according to the excellent comments I received. I like this one! Thank you!

Definite magazine material. Nice grouping of photos as well.

Hi Zoomboy, I knew this is your original idea when I wrote my first comment: I feigned ignorance, because it's so good, as a form of compliment (did you see the smiley?). A very professional submission that I keep coming back to view and admire. I think you may well have created a winner here. - Simon Bennett.

I really like the layout for this ad-- very clean, goes well with this product. I think the only problem I have is that you used the company's real logo. --Nancy

Perfect. Very professional looking. Willem

Simon, it is not FROM a magazine, it's an original idea. But you are right in one respect, it is conceived FOR a magazine, this is what I had in mind when deciding the layout. Thank you for your comments. ZoomBoy

Zoomboy, this is straight from a magazine, right? ;) Although I liked your watercolour effect previously - I agree this is less distracting. Head to the front of the class. - Simon Bennett. PS: I just discovered (10 seconds ago) the following site while looking for old Suzuki adverts. Try typing SUZUKI in to the search field on the left (this is a good site for *anyone* looking for inspiration for this challenge):http://www.paperboynews.com/link0001.asp

I like it this way too, ZoomBoy...a really nice ad...effective PS/graphic techniques to bring it all together. MFC

Simply wonderful now, this ad is like a teaser which many advertisement companies run, it makes me want to see the bike, to test ride it. Very well put together and very professional looking. I really like it! ................... Vikas

Zoomboy, now I will say your image is PERFECT. There is not one thing I can think to improve on this. Great job listening to suggestions and putting them to work for your image :-) Mark J

It is very well done but I have to agree with the others that the dreamy effect on the top picture does not fit well with the subject of the motorcycle. Could also be that we are too preconditioned about the motorcycle image through all the advertisement focussing on the tough, free style of it. Willem

Cool ad, very professional looking, particularly the bottom bit with teh small thumbnails and the logo, very well done. However, don't quite know about the watercolour effect in the main photo, IMHO, it detracts somewhat from the whole professional looking advert. But love the concept and your excellent graphic skills................ Vikas

I like everything about your ad... except the motorcycle itself. I know you are trying to portray the motorcycle in a dream but, the beautiful realistic compilation of images on the bottom, doesn't meld with the artist drawing look of the motorcycle, IMO. You have a natural talent for graphic art though, I can see that plainly. Also, you might find it odd but, I think the ad would work very well without the motorcycle altoghter! (the little images on the bottom are so well done, they spark my curiosity to go see one in person :-) Nice work! Mark J
