Light in Motion by Lisafx

This may be way over the top. Maybe a little too much photoshopping? ;-). Still, I kind of liked the abstract effect. And it did start out as a photograph, lol.

Lisafx, this is way cool! Before "joining" this creative group, I was not an admirer of abstract art. But this image pushed me just a little further into it. Thanks! Keep up the great work.---Deb

Well I think it's way cool, LOL! A lava lamp? I would really date myself if I told you I can remember the first time those things were popular! Peace, baby, LOL! ~Nee ;)

Looks good! I would have preferred a horizontal orientation. Very interesting result... that's part of the fun of being able to experiment with digital photograhy, right Lisa? Mark J

Hey Lisa, I like this. My initial thought while it was loading was that the 'white' on the left looked like bone. The elipse in the middle allows an 'out' for the viewer to travel the imagescape. This works for me. Glad you posted it. - Simon Bennett.

I'm so glad you asked :-D. Originally it was one of my lava lamp pictures, but I played with the contrast and added a gaussian blur, then I was playing with the filters in the "distort" menu. This one is the polar coordinates filter. I really liked the effect. Thanks for your comment!

Lisa, I really like the color and abstract design patterns of this "light in motion", esp the diagonal "halves" and elliptical forms. Pls explain what you did here. MFC
