Thanks for your kind comments, guys. I really appreciate it. HPD: I thought about leaving more at the top to get the balance I'm assuming you are looking for, but then I would have had to forego the perspective I was aiming for on each end of the gate. To be honest, I also got caught up in the texture and shadows of the asphalt. Maybe I need to shoot the gate again with a new perspective. Thanks for the idea!

Great shot, the opposing line structure makes it work really well. For me, less of a crop to the top would have made it even better, if possible. B&W works to the photos advantage in a big way- wish I had taken it (I love B&W and sepia).....HPD
