Shed at Night by Phil U.

This is the view off my deck looking at my shed. I took this playing around with my 717 on the first night I had it. I hadn't even read the manual yet. The fact that I really didn't know about white balance at the time gave it that cool green light.

Thanks for the nice comments. The green light came from a mercury-vapor light I have by the cul-de-sac so my son can play basketball later into the evening. At the time, I wouldn't have expected it to come out as a warped color but I was glad when it did. When I first showed it to my wife she said something like, "That looks evil". -Phil U.

Phil, I like the green glow piercing the woods to the shed. The pathlights make it more inviting, and yet one hestitates. Neat effect of lighting here. MFC

Creepy. You might have gotten the whitebalance wrong, but the resulting composition is great. JoeSchoe

I really like this one Phil, the green light makes it look erie, I wouldn't go out into that shed at night without a flashlight.
