To end the suspense, this is New York City from the top of the Empire State building. The focus is a bit soft because it was handheld on a hazy day, so I couldn't get the shutter as fast as I would have liked. Thanks for the positive comments.

I say it was taken in a helicopter... maybe the reason for the soft blur? Would be nice to know what city this is? Thanks M
