This is a wax "rex" from the Field Museum in Chicago. It peaks out from behind stuff on my desk. It gave me the idea but it just absorbed the light and kind of glowed. I spent two days looking for a red dinasaur at the toy stores, something with more surface texture and could not find one. I ended up with a shot that cast some shadows over the snout to get some surface features. ps Loved the movies, III was the best!
