8th place red white and blue

This previously pictured "thingy," for want of a better word, is actually some sort of sculpture in the plaza in front of my office building, which I've passed on numerous occasions in the last two years without really appreciating until this challenge made me look at it in a new light (and from new angles). Okay, now I'll move on to other red surfaces . . .

Thanks, Melanie. Funny how a camera can free you to look at something in a completely different way. If I hadn't brought my camera to work that day, I would've never thought to look up one of the loops of the thingy in that direction.
