The Muppet Flower
by Helen Betts

Okinawa, Japan

This has to be the strangest-looking flower I have ever seen. I can't begin to tell you how many shots I took of it, trying to get the exposure correct; the red and yellow were just impossible for me and constantly getting blown out. But I like this one well enough, and it reminds me of some kid's character (just don't know its name).

Helen, I'm sorry I did not take notice of this one until today... so many images, so little time! lol I don't know how you do it but, you just have a knack for finding interesting subjects to photograph. Maybe it's your exotic location? :-) Everywhere is exotic, next to Florida. (where I live) lol. Thanks for sharing this. Mark J
