Thanks for the comments. I tried cloning out the light green - it did look better, except that I am not a good enough cloner - I couldn't get the edges of the flower right.
Katherine, this is striking... well-composed, nice colors, very good detail/clarity. I really like this. The drops add a nice touch too. (*) If you twisted my arm to say something critical, I'd say to try cloning out some of the greenery at the top only, leaving maybe small hints of it like I see on the left and right sides. I guess you could also compare with a shot with all-black background. Your image is fine as is, IMO...but you twisted my arm(*) :) MFC
