Peggy, very nice lighting, good clarity/detail, interesting perspective and flower color. In critical mode(*), I am a little distracted by the background too...maybe Roberta's suggestion would be helpful. I experienced a background like this today...I kept realigning the subject by changing my shooting position until I got the background look that I thought was least distracting for the subject. This is still a really dramatic sunflower image. MFC

Peggy, I love the viewpoint you chose for this really beautiful image. My only suggestion (and I don't know how to do it!) would be to change the opacity of the background so the distant greens are more muted. This might make the sunflower stand out more in the foreground. Just a thought. Maybe you could use the eraser tool in PS, on a 10% setting to lighten the background. Very striking and pretty! Wonderful sunflower image, and very untypical of how they are usually shot. I love the angle and how the backlighting causes the petals to be illuminated. Lisafx
