*Roses,
dutch master style

Of course I fully realise that my images donīt even get close the great paintings of the old dutch masters. But their love for the (available) light is a great inspiration.

Best viewed in original size (to bring out the texture...)

Hewy, terrific shot and treatment. The composition, character, and sheer moment are very inviting. You have a genuine talent for capturing the warmth, wonder, and innocence of childhood. Excellent. Joe Reilly

She's adorable, Hewy, and the image really does look like a Dutch Master painting. A treasure! Bev

Hewy, I really like your capture of the child's "attentive" posture/gaze regarding the rose. Well done...and nice effect. Nice color/texture on the jacket as well. MFC
