This series was shot in fall of 2001 at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) in Portland, OR.
There is an exhibit of approximately 30 fetuses in all stages of development from just after conception to just before birth. All of them were preganancies that ended naturally for whatever reasons there may have been.
All images were shot through the two layers of glass, so the clarity that resulted is rather amazing.
I had taken about 40 pictures when one of my kids pointed out to me that there was a small, easy-to-miss sign as you entered that requested no photography.
Since I was not of a mind to throw away what I had already taken, here they are.
