WAITING FOR THE SNOW TO MELT 4 by Jasper

the Prairies

Not sure if they should leave their post, the volunteer Canadian border guards look around for approval. Eventually they join the others for coffee and donuts leaving the border open for entry. Tomorrow will be another day to wait for the snow to melt.

Thanks Ann, I thought it may appear this way, but couldn't resist as both the guards were looking in the same direction in each photo (except the last photo- they are looking away). None of the pictures were staged and no one spoke or gave commands. Thanks, Jasper

Another humerous entry. This is my favorite of the four shots. The only slight complaint is that the shots are so similar... but I know that you were getting at the monotony of waiting so it worked. :) Ann
