The Ultimate Hope via Lines & Curves
by Mike Ezell

This is a "photojournalism" shot (it was not drawn by myself in case you are wondering). This peace sign was seen on a sidewalk on the Vanderbilt University campus the morning after "Operation Iraqi Freedom" began (3/19/2003). Given that the peace sign is comprised of simply 3 lines and and a circle (curves), I thought this was a relevant and timely image for this challenge. Not a perfect picture, but certainly reflects what is on the mind (in one way or another) of many people throughout the world today. Ironic how something that is represented via 3 simple lines and a simple circle turns out to be the most difficult thing to actually accomplish in reality.
