Awesome work. I always love pictures with 'pure' black backgrounds, since its my crux that I can never pull off. This may have been better with a little more of a natural angle on the club/ball/tee. Jarett

Bill: Nice shot - lots of action.(I honestly had not seen your photo when I posted my golf shot.) -faye

Bill... off camera flash was the FIRST thing that came to mind for me. It would be cool if you could create a trail of the ball leaving the tee! Don't give up... do it again until you get the feel you were looking for in this image. Mark J.

I would have liked to "stop" the club, but this is as close as I could get. I'm calling this one, maybe not a "failure", but definitely one of those images that isn't exactly what I was aiming for when I came up with the shot in my mind. Maybe it's time to experiment with off camera flash?

I'd like to have seen one of the elements in the photo "stopped," which would lend unity and a focal point for this picture. I do love the lighting and admire your meticulous set-ups. Erichocinc

Hey Bill,

You must have taken dozens of shots, if not hundreds, to get this one. Very nice action, but it looks like a hook. ;-) Jim/Shutter
