Restoration
by Bev Brink

Northern Indiana

The weak winter sun turned this old building into a work of art. I had never noticed that the top of the building is sheathed in a burnished metal. My local pictorial history album shows a 1900 picture of the building which apparently was built some time before that. Nice to see it being restored.

Nice job on the Photography. I'm glad they are restoring it instead of tearing it down. The old buildings all have their individual characters.

Hi W.C. - Around 1900 this building belonged to the International Order of the Odd Fellows. A local historian is researching the "FLT" for me; no answers yet. Bev

What a neat building. From a time when people cared about making a statement with architecture. I see what I think may be Masonic symbols, do you know what "F L T" stands for?
