Past Or Future ? By Mark J

This is a car hood ornament I photographed today.

Can you tell me if this is an antique or a "concept car" object ?

To me, it has elements of the past and a futuristic
look to it

PS, I intentionally left that ghostly reflection

Ok folks.... better late then never, right ? lol

It's a Cheverlet antique army vehicle. The most unlikely vehicle one would expect to see in the beach parking lot but.. it was there on Super Bowl Sunday, the day I photographed this image.

Also note: the car was actually dark (Army) green. I found it boring in it's original color so, I tooled around in PSE 2 to change the color to something more pleasing to the eye ;-)

this must be an ornament on Flash Gordon's ship.

On a serious note, it's a great capture of something you see frequently but presented in an unusual, creative way.

Good one, Mark! Really nice image and I like the ambiguity of the when. And it's definitely not "now." I, too, would guess it's from an old car.
