You get an A for adventurous and innovative. Loved the idea and enjoyed the scene. I especially was impressed at the color/ shade of water...makes me think of the Carribean. (debadguy)

There was very little crop. The cam was apprx 10"~12" away. I used aperture mode: F8.0/EV1.0/SH:1/10s. Not in macro mode.

You may use this image any way you like. Thanks for the kind words. Did you notice that I chose the color red (hot) for the one in the water, and blue (cold) for the one standing on the edge with her/his arm folded? hehe

Thanks. The waves were all done in postprocessing. I masked the water to the edge of the beach and then used dodge/burn techniques to burn the edge of the mask, giving the illusion of a wave. For each successive wave I just moved the mask back a little and repeated the dodge/burn.

My favorite one is the one that just entering the water :) That is very creative and cool!!! My daughter wants to habg it on the wall, do you mind?

That is fabulous! Extremely creative. I love it!

But tell me, what was your focal length? To get the great DOF you must have been back a ways and then just cropped it? Were you using macro mode?

This is really enjoyable. I love the guy (or gal, I suppose you couldn't sculpt the difference) leaning back on his hand.
