JLN, you crack me up! I've never seen a lichee before...but I'll take your word that it's really food. It looks so otherworldly...like something from another planet! How do they taste? What are they??? Fruit or vegetable? In *light* of your response to debadguys comment, I'll say that I actually like the light showing in the photo! It adds some artistic tension to the shot by making your eyes go back and forth between the the light and the lichee. (sure it's not a bug of some sort? LOL!) Interesting photo...~Nee

Nice macro...good depth of focus. Do you think eliminating the light from the top of picture would give it a better finish? (debadguy)
