11-JAN-2009 Helen Betts

Equal Justice Under Law
by Helen Betts

Washington, D.C.

I suppose this is a pretty boring photograph, but I think the U.S. Supreme Court is one of the most elegant and majestic buildings in Washington. Also, I'm leaving for two weeks in my office in Istanbul on Wednesday and am not planning to take the H5, so what I captured today will probably have to be it!

Nice composition - I love the symmetry and the light building against the blue sky!

What makes it definetely not boring are the shadows on the stairs, I think on the second view! Yeah, I really like it. Aslo the change of light/shadow on the right and left part.
