What a neat look thru the window...those grapes are an interesting touch to their display. --Melanie

Very cute and seasonal catch, Helen!

Thanks also Katherine and Frank. I think I would describe the kitty as looking wistful here, but in one shot he looked extremely irritated that I was disturbing his dreaming. And yes, I guess that's me in the ornament -- I hadn't noticed that before, LOL.

Cool shot! To me the kitty is simply nerved by the xmas tree, which stands inthe way to have a good sight on what is going on outside. I guess we can see you in the reflection of the balls! :-)

Great capture - I love the lighting and sharp details! That poor kitty looks like he really, really wants to go out and play!

Thank you Mike and Deb! I saw this scene as I was walking into the alley behind our house after a frustrating (and ice cold) afternoon of shooting. I was afraid the kitty would move so dropped everything to get my camera out quickly, but he just stayed there posing away. I like the bell on the cat, too, Deb, as you pointed out earlier!

Helen, I love how the reflected tree & sky serve as a background to the artificial tree. The kitty gazing to the outside is a wonderful extra and a big part of the "dreaming" here. Good eye and great catch! MFC

Great capture, Helen! The red collar on the cat is the crowning point of the image. The more I look at this picture, the more interesting things I see. What I want to know is how there are still ornaments on the tree with a cat in the house! I should be so lucky!---deb
