Cool set up, with a modern interpretation of a still life! The horse is the icing on the cake.

I didn't see the horse. I'm so unobservant. The composition even allows for the horse. I hope I can learn to look more thoroughly at things.

Thanks for the comments :-) Yep, the apple was for the horse (actually, I ate that apple, I gave the horse one that was cut up, and not after jumps - I haven't learned that, yet). I should have tried different angles with the helmet, but it was hard to balance it, and also the horse had her head down in the stall most of the time.

Of course! The horse gets the apple. Duh. No wonder horses snort in disgust & wander away when I go to take their pic w/o an apple. BTW, the horse is in the right rear looking wistful.

The best part of the photo is not in the frame...the horse. The horse gets the apple, inframan, not Katherine, not the helmet, although I do agree that the helmet is looking a little suspicious. Just a little hop to its left and no one would even know that the apple was there. The idea of the horse, makes the objects special. That's talent thinking. Why can't I think like that?

Cute shot. Funny how the hat seems to be looking at the apple with a certain hunger.
