Another striking exposure of a sculpture! Very focussed compo, giving an intense expirience. IMO the gallery background does not work well with the toning, which is not your fault of course.

This is a big sculpture to which I'm not even waist high. It's of two men beating vigourously on drums. This face is pointing straight down, and therefore in shadow. I got inbetween the drum and the body and took this shot straight up into the face. So this is intended as a look of artistic intensity or strenuous activity. I don't know why they are beating the drum. Maybe that's important. The sculpture is outside a hospital, and I attracted the attention of a security guard while taking this shot. China is very security conscious since the Olympics.
