Tower of Power
by Helen Betts

Ginowan City, Okinawa

Taken down the street from my house. Power lines and poles are definitely one of the uglier aspects of Japan, and the Japanese make no attempt whatsoever to minimize the visual pollution they create. I don't know if it looks worse from this perspective or the way you'd normally view it.

Oh, darn, I don't have one! I hope my secrets are still secret after exposing my brain to all the electromagnetic waves coming off the power pole! LOL, Helen

Whew, Helen, I hope you were wearing one of these while taking the pic.

Helen, you have been on the streets of Istanbul. You know what real visual pollution is :)) To be honest this is a great documentation of bad aesthetics. By the way, the title is quite good.

Most interesting, Helen. I really like the sharp lines going in every direction. It appears to be a chaotic organization of lines. Good job.---Deb

Interesting shot, Helen. Almost makes me wonder of a radiation shield is necessary! Really a very sharp image. Bev

Another interesting view, Helen. Good detail here too. I saw your original post of this and really like how you chose to crop it. Good one. MFC
