This image is clearly a "Betts" in terms of simplicity, cleanliness of line and composition, and strong use of color. To my eye it lacks the resonance of your other entries (and your earlier work). More of an "aha" than a "WOW"

I like the bold components and well harmonized colors. The different reflections and slightly different stem shapes add additional interest, and they all blend nicely into the light background. Nice job. - R.J.

Thank you for your comments. The blue apple always got the best reflection, no matter where I took the picture. In this particular image, the red one has mainly sky and clouds since it's in the center, and the green one has the wall facing the house. However, in all attempts (which were many!) the green didn't seem to reflect as well; I think it's denser glass, and of course darker. Helen
