'Shades of Curve' by nee (rdavis)

Using the special effects "negative" option on my Sony F707, with very little touch up work done in editing...my homage to a very talented *arteest*! (thanks cUrVe, for your inspiration)

You did a great job, the first thing I thought of when I saw it was curve, but was surprised to see your name then saw the title and a big grin began. Excellent. - Shay

Love the bold shapes, and inverted colors; the diagonal elements drew me into the picture - R.J.

Really nice combination of ideas - all of which people have mentioned. Would not have been nearly as effective if one were left out - great synergism.

wow wow ...WOW...if it wasnt for the faint shadows behind the spoon i would have never known what youve done. This is soooo creative. Not just the negative art option from the 707 but the framing and composition and especially the lighting. And putting your hand in there is a really nice touch. Youve done well here and im extremely...extremely impressed...applause! - ZipperZ

Nee: The color balance is stunning, the image components beautifully assembled. It grabs me. Fremiet

nee, this is very cool. The reflection of the glass in the spoon is is subtle, but I really like it. You really pulled off a good one. Shutter

that's awesome! i didn't even notice the negative effect at first. the base of the vase/glass looked normal to me. to me the negative effect is very subtle. very cool indeed. didn't think i could inspire people to such greatness. first SarahD and now you. i am humbled at the very thought of it. -cUrVe

Thanks, Eric! Actually, using the negative effect sort of *loses* the reflections a little, but they are there in the spoon and the glass! ~Nee (rdavis)

Imaginative and lovely.... like all your stuff. I'm having trouble seeing the reflection, though, unless the whole reversal is a reflection (in a manner of speaking). Erichocinc
