With the top cowling off you can see the control mixer bellcranks, the main spar, and the sizeable gray box that houses all the computer engine controls. The black box with two hemispherical bumps ahead of the main spar houses the oxygen bottle and a fire extinguisher. Where are those cowlings? We spend an hour searching around the office and the maintenance hangar before I find them hiding in plain sight not 20 feet from where the airplane had been parked in our absence.
