I get my chance, too. The cockpit is tight about the head and shoulders, but plenty wide down at waist level. Controls and switches are easy to reach. The airspeed indicator and engine instruments are mounted high and offset a little to the left of the panel's centerline, just where a pilot doing Mach 0.7 in a continuous left turn 50 feet off the deck would want them.
