Darryl Greenemyer is a legend in aviation circles. Among his exploits, he built a Lockheed F-104 Starfighter from scrapped airframes and spare parts; he also mounted an expedition to Greenland to resurrect a derelict B-29 that made a forced landing on the tundra fifty years before. He's been racing at Reno for decades.
