On final at Tonopah; the town is up on a ridge a few miles to the west of the field. It is perhaps the most desolate piece of real estate I've ever been pleased to see: after fighting the increasing headwinds and turbulence all the way from Bryce we're ready for a break, and the Stemme needs fuel.
