When my 512MB flash card went belly up following an afternoon's shooting in Bryce Canyon National Park, I feared the worst. But the manufacturer, Lexar Media, was able to recover almost all the 400+ image files from the defunct card: a couple of weeks after returning home I received a new card and two CD-Rs containing the recovered image files. Here, then, are a few of those images, photos I had given up hope of ever seeing again.
