Killdeer in flight
So named because their call sounds like they are saying "kill deer". Doesn't sound like that to me. But hey, I think I sound good when I sing.
The salmon are running and the seagulls are starting to arrive. So are the turkey vultures. I saw a kettle a couple days ago with 50+ TVs.
Other migrating birds are also starting to show up. It is an exciting time of year.
