Cliff Swallow
Swallows are one of the hardest birds, for me, to catch in flight. I was lucky today in that there were maybe 30 swallows feeding in this one area of the river. They kept flying down river against the wind and catching bugs, that's when I got my shots, and then making a quick turn and flying back up river to start another pass. There were both tree swallows and cliff swallows in the group. I took a little over 100 shots and got maybe three where the head was in focus with no motion blur. Next time I'm going to use a higher ISO so I can stop down another notch and get a little more depth of field.
