Meadow

Anyone who knows me will know that I am not a fan of lawns or of yard-work. This year, through the application of a little local cutting and the invasion of some flowers, I managed to turn our backyard into quite a nice little meadow. I am not sure how the neighbours feel about this but I take some satisfaction in having the most diverse yard in the neighbourhood (the cats like it too).

Oh the yard of a biologist.....what does Mum think of this? Or is she outnumbered by you and the cats?

I love your backyard jungle as portrayed here, and I'm not surprised the cats like it too :)
The odd flowers pushing above the tall grass are a very nice focus point.
