Note brass bubble flare adapter fitting shown was not used. Insufficient depth to accommodate existing Healey tube nuts. New brake lines were made with bubble flares at the caliper ends and using Healey tube nuts.

Addendum: bubble flare adapter could be used if you made your pipes with fully-threaded US-style tube nuts - the ones that are threaded all the way down. (see next picture)
