Slovenia 2008

Back to Slovenia for another week in this little gem of a country.
It was at times very wet, and this trip was more about just being
there than photography in itself, but here's a few that I'd like
to share with you.

PS If the exif info appears to suggest that these were taken in
2007, I set my camera wrong!

Dear Steve, thank you for this fantastic journey and getaway form grayness of the city life. I see that overcast weather was your trustworthy companion along the way, and you got along quiet well. The moody and changing climate of Slovenian wonderland was just the needed impulse for you to paint the beauties of this gorgeous highlands and to give us a breath of fresh air that can last for some time, maybe even until your next journey.

Stunning scenery, dramatic weather conditions - looks idyllic and far from the madding crowd. The sort of place you don't want to come back from. The Ricoh did a sterling again Steve, I have to say that I'm very impressed with the performance of this camera (nothing to do with the photographer of course ;o) I enjoyed them all but I guess the Drežnica shot would be my favourite - very magical indeed!! Excellent gallery - big vote!
