2007 Work

This year I have continued to create more large foliage paintings with a commission from Beales Hotel (via the University of Hertfordshire) for a 16 feet triptych. I have always had a problem with the rectangular canvas and my cut-outs use the image of one old master within the shape of a more contemporary practitioner. I am also creating dressed nudes - taking well known nudes (like Cranach's Venus in the National Gallery) and dressing them in contemporary clothing and colours. Since the Beales triptych I have returned to 3 dimensional work.
