In...done...and fully functional for a few months at the time of this picture.
No more oil consumption...as in having to add more oil than before to top things off when the oil level is checked during regular checks of fluid levels. The motor does use some oil; the topping off volumes hasn't changed.
No more seepage/wetness around any of the seals or gaskets.
And the catch can has accumulated a negligible amount of oil in the bottom.
Letting the crankcase breathe and vent what it wants to, as easily as possible, really works.

I have been advised that the catch can has been doing the job. It collected better than a pint of foamy, watery, oil...which was drained out about 6 weeks ago. That would be about 4 months since the install.
Overall oil consumption has remained stable to what it was prior to the catch can setup install. But instead of the foamy oil being ingested into the motor, it is being collected in the catch can.
