Heavy weather on the plains

Not unusual for this time of year, a series of intense storms rolled across the plains of central Iowa on Saturday-May 8, 2004, producing egg-sized hail and spawning 4 tornados. Needless to say, I didn't hang around long to take alot of photos. Nothing as awe-inspiring as the fury of Mother Nature!

This is a great shot! I like how the tree seems to be caught up and swayed by the clouds! Lot's of motion in this image!

I really like your picture. When the big storms roll across the Everglades later in the summer, I want to photograph them. Big clouds fascinate me...
