I'm spending the summer with my grandson and I'll be showing him your gallery; we do a star and sky and ecology project each summer. Maybe we can go to Nebraska for that dark sky event.....thanks for these great pictures. They're so inspiring.

Just last night as I stood out on patio, I wondered at the brightness of the "star" above the half moon. In awe I stood there gazing, wishing my camera could capture it..should have tried. However I am glad that you did this, questions answered. And such a beautiful night sky captured well.
