In an equally spurious maroon livery, 3026 takes water at Cowra in 1994.

Like 3016 it was a converted tank, but retained its saturated boiler. Not long after this boiler defects forced its withdrawal from service. It resides at Cowra, under the care of the Lachlan Valley railway.
