I shot this bloke ( about 17':6") at Shady Camp on the Mary. As you can see there isn't lots of cover. He was on the other bank and I covered the last 50 yds or so squiming along on my belly with the rifle across my fore arms I realised I was being followed and about 10 feet behind me was a very inquisitive old bull buffalo.He'd never seen anything like this before and was determined to check it out. I couldn't make a noise or stand up so I spun my hat back to him and he had a sniff and left at a gallop. Thankfully the croc was used to the sound of buffalos and he never moved.
