4.19 Movement Memorial / Cemetery

This memorial commemorates the lives lost in the "April Revolution" of 1960, which resulted in the removal of the first president of the Republic of Korea
70-foot high granite pylons, flanked by two granite bas-relief screens, depict the struggle in four themes: Oppression, Struggle, Victory, and Rejoicing.
Behind the memorial's granite structures are granite memorial markers and some actual graves for the students who died in the April Revolution.
