Funny about the diamond. When I was looking at the thumbnail, I though it looked like a slide mount!
Like the way you captured the atmosphere. And isn't the stylus epic wonderful?

Wonderful shot, i love the moody fog on the empty street and the blue tone, by the way it looks like you have been through a lot of cameras:-),

Don't think I'll ever go back to film full time, but geesh do I miss the way it does b&w. But even color has such smooth transitions in color. I like this, right up the "Dirty Suburb" line.

I really like the way you have got the grim bleakness of certain parts and times in Toronto down to perfection! Its' in the common, everyday scenes that the true nature of reality is to be found.

I live relatively close (80 km ) to TO and i know just how indifferent and allof the city can be, not to mention the severe austerity of the winters!

Great job!

BTW, i think i'll pick up a stylus epic.

Thanks

David,

You are right about the diamond in the right-hand most lane, it does indicate the lane for taxis, mass public transit, and carpooling here in Toronto as well. Although at times it seems like merely a suggestion! Thanks for your kind words!

Nice colors and mood. I can imagine standing there and hearing just the faint sound of the approaching car. Out here in Washington State (Seattle, etc.; not DC), a diamond on the pavement indicates a lane for carpools and mass transit. Is that the case in Toronto?
