Land Planarian, Geoplana cf. multipunctata (Geoplanidae)

Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve, Prov. Pichincha, Ecuador

This very large geoplanid, found at night, was about the length of an adult human's palm. The cloud forest provides the very humid conditions that these organisms require for survival.
