hi. yea, this was one bitter, cold day. i slipped and fell trying to climb through the rocks at the head of the pier and smashed my knee pretty good, too. this was one of those pure lake effect deals where at about 17-18 miles from the shore it turned into a different world. love it over there when it's like that, but glad i don't live there!
brrrrrrrrr. This is freezing. I have ventured out to Grand Haven when the wind chills were -20°. Camera freezes up due to the cold but none of those shots evoke the shiver quite like this! I'm enjoying your south haven shots a lot since the catwalk has a simpler charm than grand haven. I'll haft to drift out there sometime this winter. Thanks for the Michigan images.
