Our First EggBeautiful day today, went to 19C with only a light breeze and sunny weather. And when Dennis and I checked the nestbox, we found more evidence that the birds had been in it make nest scrapes. However, they have chosen to nest on the 13th floor nestledge instead of the box this year. Not the best place for nesting (we have found) but a very popular for the birds to hang out. And Trey, the resident male, was hatched here in 1996, so that may be why this pair chooses this location more often than I would like!Peregrine Falcon Recovery Project (Manitoba) |
