They let the shingles run in a diamond pattern, rather than starting each triangle of shingles separately and parallel to the base of each one, but it was a difference I could live with. I am hopeful the shingles rolled over the edge in the middle of the diamonds seal and lie down well, and do not get caught by the wind.
