East Hosta Bed Path and Birdbath, Sep 2020

I wanted to raise and level a low spot where we had sewer work done in the past. I moved the birdbath and put in about 15 bags of topsoil in the area, raked and leveled it. I laid roll roofing E of the hosta bed and put down flagstones and pea gravel to make a path. I put down another piece of roll roofing, some of the light bricks from JCleal, then brought back the birdbath, ground dish and rocks. To kill any grass before I plant next year, I put down plastic bags and covered them with cypress mulch.
I left an uncovered spot in the NW corner (lower R of photo) where one of our sprinkler heads is positioned. I'd asked our irrigation guy to raise it when he was last here to put in the back hydrant.

I used empty potting mix bags to cover the ground before putting down the cypress mulch.

I had gotten a load of flagstones and 'moss' stones from Minick's to match the other hosta bed borders and paths.
